AN UNFORGETABLE MEMORY!

That was on holiday, when i was about ten years old. My family visited my grandparents. Behind my grandparents’ house was a small canal where my cousins usually swam at there every afternoon. So that day, my cousin invited me to swim. And I had an unforgetable memory at that canal.
Although I didn’t know swimming, but when she invited me to swim, i was very eager and i agreed her innvitation right now. At first, she knew swimming so she swam quite far about middle of canal. But i only stood up near to the edge where waterlevel was equal with my belly. I felt very excited then i wanted to go further. Suddendly, i slipped and fell down a very deep place. I kept going up and down in water. My hands and legs waved continuosly. At that time, i tried to rise to the surface. My sister didn’t know that i didn’t know swimming. She thought that i was kidding. But i more and more went down. It was very difficult to breathe. I nearly became unconscious. I was so scared.After that, i didn’t know how i could lie on the ground. When I vomitted all water in my belly and came to life, i saw my all family there. My mother and my sister were crying. My mother clasped me in her hands and said :”my daughter”. My father rubbed my head and said that “ Don’t risk like this in next time”. I only whispered “ i’m really sorry everyone”. And i cried very much. Afterwards, my mother told that My father saw me when i was going to sink down and he dove into canal to save my life. It was very lucky to me.
Up to now i haven’t still known swimming because I can’t forget what happened to me on that holiday. Whenever i see canals or rivers, i recall that terrible afternoon. It was really an unforgetable memory for me. I alsolearn my lesson : shouldn’t risk in life as sometimes i have to lose my life.
